Building a website is all well and good, but I want to know how to make money from itThis is always the response when I tell people I have an internet business
How to make money from a website is the most common area of interest from my friends and family. You've probably read the "About Me" page and why I'm building a web business. Now you want to know how I make money from this process and are wondering if it is worth your time and effort to follow along this pathSo let's not waste time and words. Here is exactly what you want to know and how everything works together to create multiple streams of income and how to make money from a website. Income Stream Number One: Google AdsenseAdsense is the name given to the system Google uses to put Adwords ads on non-Google sites. I'm sure most of you have noticed, and probably even clicked on Google ads. Here is an example of a Google ad:
These ads are incredibly powerful because they are highly targeted. When anyone clicks on these links, they are taken to the advertiser's site. Adwords currently generate 95% of Google's income.(Don't worry about the difference between Adsense and Adwords). The point I am making here is that it is in Google's best interest to make sure the ads on my site attract the attention of my visitors and are geared to their needs and interests. Whenever someone clicks on these ads, I receive a commission. Sometimes it's $.05 and sometimes it could be $5.00 depending how much the advertiser is paying for that particular ad. The point is, every minute of every day I am making money from Google Adsense. Within 3 months of signing up for this program, I started receiving a monthly check from Google for use of my virtual real estate space and they continue arriving each and every month. This is one of the major ways of how to make money from a website. Income Stream Number Two: Open an eBay StoreOpen your own eBay store right on your site. There is a lot of free information online on how to do this. There are also many courses you can purchase if you are serious about doing this. If you already own a website, rather than have your own eBay store, you can set up an eBay feed and make a commission every time someone purchases an item from your feed.
Income Stream Number Three: Affiliate ProgramsAn affiliate business is one of the easiest ways to get your feet wet in the internet business. Sign up with a merchant who has an affiliate program and send visitors to a merchant's website that you are representing. If they buy or complete a required action, such as filling out a form or a survey, I receive a commission. Below is an example of an affiliate link: WallNutz Paint By Number Mural Kits -- and easy and inexpensive way to create your child's dream room or nursery. No artistic ability required! For a more in depth look at affiliate marketing, download this free version of the "Affiliate Masters Course" . Do you already own a website? Is it producing income for you? If you would like some hints to increase the income from your site and become a Super Affiliate, this course will help you do just that. Read what other website owners are doing to increase their monthly income and how to make money from your website. Income Stream Number Four: Resale RightsThere are many products, software and digital products available for resale that I can use on my site. Many of these are offered free of charge as bonuses when other items are purchased. Many are given away when you sign up for ezines or free e-courses. If you are wondering why they are free and I am allowed to resell them, the answer is viral marketing. Viral marketing is called just that because it spreads like a virus. The producer or author embeds their name, business and website in every product. Each time someone buys a resale item, their name is seen in the book or product, hence the name: Viral Marketing. By giving away resale rights, the producer of the product is essentially getting free advertising. At the same time, I am getting the right to sell that product on my website and this is another way how to make money. Income Stream Number Five: ClickbankClickbank is another form of an affiliate program. However, Clickbank deals mainly in digital products such as software and e-books that can be downloaded. Below is a sample of a Clickbank product and also an e-book: Click Here for the Definitive Guide to Creating Decorative Concrete! Feng Shui Secrets Revealed. This is a very successful and highly effective template on how to Feng Shui your home that's been proven and tested by thousands. Secrets of Feng Shui Revealed! Whenever someone buys a Clickbank product I receive a commission. These can range from $5.00 to $25.00 depending on the product. E-books (especially non-fiction "how to"), e-photos (booming!), niche software, etc. The whole "digital goods for sale" space is soaring. Anything can be digitized. Income Stream Number Six: Promote Your Own ProductsAt this point, I am not yet ready to do this. However, within the next year, this is my next stream of income. If you already have a product to promote, whether it is a service or product, you could start promoting this immediately as soon as your website is up and running. This is only the tip of the iceberg. The longer I am in this business, the more I am seeing how other people create multiple streams of income and how to make money from this website. These are just a few ways of making money with a website. There are new income producing products being offered every day for internet marketing. There has never been more opportunities for producing income on the internet than there are today. For a look at how people are building an Internet business through building a website and to see more ways on how to make money from these websites check this out and see how buiiding a website to create income can make a huge difference in your life! |
