I first became interested in eBay when I received my first glass egg paperweight. It was made from the ashes of the volcano eruption in 1980 on Mt Helens. Shortly after that, I visited my in-laws who live next to the Fenton Glass factory in Ohio. After touring the factory, of course I walked out of there with my second glass egg. After that I was hooked.

And then came eBay!

Ebay is the greatest auction house in the entire world. Everything you could possibly want is available there. Once I started bidding and buying, the next logical step was moving on to selling. Is there anyone out there who doesn't feel they could make some extra money on eBay?

Oh yes, the hype is great. Set up a site, clean out your garage, and you are on your way to eBay riches! I set up my site, followed the rules, and yes, I've made some extra money selling on eBay. But, as I discovered, the road to being an ebay powerseller is not easy!

Don't get me wrong, it is possible and many people are reaching this level. However, you have to start out with desire and the attitude that you will succeed, no matter what the time and effort involved.

First learn all you can by accessing free information. Learn the basics before you get involved in selling on eBay.

How you open an account, choose a niche, decide what to sell and how to set up your site all have an impact on how well you will succeed on eBay.
