Color Properties Influence our World More Than We Realize

How much do you know about your favorite color?

This starts immediately upon arising and we find ourselves looking out the window. The sky is bright blue without a cloud in it; we decide it is going to be a sunny day. We turn to our closet to choose what we will wear today. We feel good about seeing the sun and choose a brightly colored pink sun dress over the neutral grey pantsuit.

When shopping later in the day, we decide whether or not bananas are ripe enough for us by the shade of yellow we see. Walking through the park on our way home from work raises our spirits because we are surrounded by the bright spring green grass and red tulips. We even label days with color such as blue Monday and black Friday.

Our Color Choices May Lie in Our Attitude Toward Life

There seems to be no end to the colors we develop by mixing and matching the primary colors. Just look at the colors available when shopping for a new shirt. Have you seen the new car colors available this season? Check out the array of paint colors at the home improvement store.
